Aakar Innovations is a hybrid social enterprise comprised of Aakar Innovations and Aakar Social Ventures. Through Aakar Innovations, women are enabled to produce and distribute affordable, high-quality, ~100% compostable sanitary napkins within their communities, made by cutting-edge patented technology. To facilitate this, Aakar Social raises awareness regarding Menstrual Health Management (MHM) and aims to sensitise communities to the importance of feminine hygiene through education programmes.
